President Bola Tinubu has restated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing workers’ welfare.
Tinubu restated the commitment in his message on Thursday to Nigerian workers on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day.
May 1, is set aside every year to celebrate
the resilience, gains and contributions of workers, and labour movement in Nigeria and across the world.
President Tinubu in his message described the workers as the engine of the economy and the secret to the nation’s growth.
Stating: “Our administration has and will continue to prioritise workers’ welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again.”
“Here’s to everyone, young and old, entrepreneur or employee, private or government employed, whose meaningful contributions help in no small way to the development of our homes, communities, and our dear Nation. Happy Worker’s Day, Nigeria!,” President Tinubu wrote on his X handle.
