The Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Prof. Joseph Utsev, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the entire Buhari family on the passing of their beloved patriarch, His Excellency, former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
In a condolence message on Tuesday, Prof. Utsev described the late President as a symbol of discipline, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the service of Nigeria.
He said his decades of sacrifice in both military and civilian leadership would forever remain etched in the annals of the nation’s history.
According to the Minister, Buhari inspired generations with his resolute dedication to national development, transparency in governance, and love for the country.
“At this moment of grief, I pray that Almighty God grants the entire family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“May God forgive the shortcomings of our dearly departed former President and grant him eternal rest.
“The entire Water Sector joins His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in mourning this great loss and stands in solidarity with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
“Nigeria has indeed lost a giant, but his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he served.
“Please accept my heartfelt Condolences,” Prof. Utsev wrote in the condolence message.
