The All Progressive Congress(APC) has debunked a report circulating in the media that the party was pushing for postponement of the 2023 general elections schedule to hold February 25.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to the media on February 8, 2023 by the party national publicity secretary; Barr.Felix Morka.
The party advised Nigerians to ignore such reports as it was false and aimed at misleading the electorates and that under President Muhammadu Buhari leadership, the party has continued to carry out vibrant campaigns that would ensure its victory in the 2023 general election.
“We stand ready for the general election, and remain confident that nigerians will overwhelmingly renew our mandate in a peaceful, free and credible electoral contest.” Morka said.
He said, the general election was a matter of national importance bordering on national security and corporate integrity of our country, therefore, advised the opposition parties to stop spreading fake rumours and hate propaganda against the APC.
