We’ll Not Tolerate Sit-at-home Enforcement – Delta Govt
The Delta State government has warned that plans by unscrupulous persons to enforce a sit-at-home order in the State will be promptly nipped in the bud.
This was contained in a press release issued Monday, 16 May, 2022, by the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr. Patrick Ukah.
TheFact Nigeria reports that, according to Ukah, the government of the State has got wind of the plans of a certain group of persons to disrupt the peace currently being enjoyed in the State capital, Asaba, and other neigbouring towns, and will appropriately deal with such threats.
“Security agencies have been put on red alert and have been mandated to ensure that such threats by unscrupulous elements are promptly nipped in the bud”, the statement said.
Ukah also assured residents of the State Government’s commitment to ensuring continued peace and security of lives and property, and thus, should go about their lawful duties without fear.
