Abuja Air Force Plane Crash Incidence Saddens NEMA DG, Mohammed
Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency, AVM. Muhammadu Muhammed (Rtd) has said he is saddened by the unfortunate incident of the Nigerian Air Force aircraft that crashed on Sunday in Abuja.
On his official Twitter handle, @officialdgnema who is a reti Air Force officer wrote on Sunday evening: “I am deeply saddened by the loss of all lives onboard the @NigAirForce (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft that crashed today while out on special duties for the Nation.
“May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. I am sending my sincere condolences & prayers to the families and loved ones of the deceased.
“It’s a sad day for the Nigerian Air Force family and indeed the entire Nation – AVM MA MUHAMMED (rtd)”.
The plane was reported to have crashed just outside the Abuja airport on Sunday after reporting engine failure, killing all seven people on board.
The Beechcraft King Air 350i, was on its way to Minna, Niger State, some 110 kilometres away from Abuja.
