Following the ongoing confrontation between the incumbent Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and the immediate past Governor, Nyesom Wike, President Bola Tinubu is reportedly in a closed-door meeting with them at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
Governor Fubara was accompanied to the seat of power by the former governor of Rivers State, Sir Peter Odili, and other stakeholders from the state. This makes it the second time the President will be intervening in the matter.
