FG To Launch Expanded National MSME Clinic In Ogun State
The Federal Government is set to launch an Expanded National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinic in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Vice President Kashim Shettima will depart Abuja today for the launch, according to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha.
The Expanded National MSME Clinic is expected to spur job creation and increase nationwide productivity.
Yesterday, the VP Shettima was in Gombe State where he launched the Outsource To Nigeria Initiative (OTNI), a project designed to create jobs in the business process and technology-enabled outsourcing sector.
During the weekend, the Vice President was in Katsina State, where he visited former President Muhammadu Buhari in his hometown of Daura and made courtesy calls on the Emirs of Daura and Katsina.
On Monday last week, Vice President Kashim Shettima was in Enugu for the official launch of the Light Up Nigeria, South East Initiative which he described as the much-expected solution to the power supply deficit that has undermined the nation’s economy and industrialization.
On the same day, the Vice President also commissioned the 181MW Geometric power plant in Aba, Abia State to accelerate power supply to industrial clusters in the South-East.
Nwocha said, “as the Vice President continues to work so hard for the advancement of the welfare of all Nigerians, all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We must all rally around the President to achieve our nation’s set goals, policies, and plans”, he said.
