The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has announced the inauguration of Board of Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB) and Rab’ia Adamu Waziri as a member of the board, chaired by Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume.
PTDF, in a statement posted on its X handle on Friday, stated that the
appointment reflects its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda and strengthening ICT integration in the Oil and Gas sector.
It said the new Board was entrusted with the responsibility of steering GBB’s operations and overseeing the successful implementation of its Integrated Digital Transformation Strategy (IDTS) for the 2025–2028 period.
The Fund congratulated Hajia Rabi’ah Umar Waziri-Adamu on her well-deserved appointment and expressed full confidence in her ability to provide strategic insight and effectively represent the Fund’s interests on the GBB Board.
