The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has said sound policy development is crucial to attracting investment into the aviation sector.
Keyamo stated this while receiving a team from the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), led by its Managing Director, Dr. Armstrong Takang, according to a statement made available on Wednesday by the ministry’s Head of Press and Public Affairs, Odutayo Oluseyi.
The Minister expressed his appreciation to the team describing MOFI as the missing link in his ongoing efforts and welcomed the opportunity for closer collaboration.
While in agreement to set up a joint working team to advance the collaboration, Keyamo reiterated Mr. President’s commitment to a world class aviation sector in Nigeria.
Takang who led the team in company of their Qatari partner, Power International Holdings to present investment opportunities in the aviation sector, described the Minister’s recent CTC and IDERA initiatives as a masterstroke toward building a robust aviation sector.
The team highlighted potential areas of collaboration critical to achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s trillion-dollar economy vision.
