No fewer than 21 Super Eagles’ players have reported to Camp ahead of their World Cup Playoff with Gabon on Thursday, 13 November, 2025.
In a post on its official X handle on Tuesday, the National Team announced that the training started yesterday in Rabat, Morocco.
The list of the players currently in Camp are: Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegu, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Troost Ekong, Benjamin Fredrick, Chidozie Awaziem, Bruno Onyemaechi, Amas Obasogue, Stanley Nwabali, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Akor Adams, Chidera Ejuke, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Raphael Onyedika, Frank Onyeka, and Zaidu Sanusi.
TheFact Daily gathered that the players are camped at RIVE Hotel because of its proximity to the team’s training facility and the stadium in Rabat.
Nigeria will face Gabon in Thursday’s semi-final in Olympic Stadium, while Cameroon will face DR Congo at the El-Barid Stadium, also in Rabat, Morocco.
Winners of both matches will meet in the final on November 16 to know who will make a headway to the inter-confederation playoffs for a place at the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The players will continue with their training today in Rabat as Nigerians and the squad are hoping for the arrival of Victor Osimhen and the remaining players.
