President Bola Tinubu has been presented with the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag and certificate of return as the 2027 presidential candidate.
The presentation ceremony held on Sunday, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, follows the successful collation of results from the party’s presidential primary elections held across the country.
Both the party’s flag and the certificate of return were presented to the President by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, shortly after the affirmation of his candidature.
Addressing the APC stakeholders, including the party’s governors, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), the National Working Committee (NWC), National Assembly members, and other party stalwarts from across the country, President Tinubu said the nomination has renewed his determination to work even harder to reposition the country on a path of sustainable growth.
He pledged to build even a more inclusive government; the one that listens to the plight of all Nigerians.
