Vice President Kashim Shettima has left Addis Ababa for Abuja after concluding the Nigeria Ethiopia Nutrition Leadership Exchange.
The three day engagement themed “Moving the Needle on Nutrition” brought together a Nigerian delegation of governors, ministers and other stakeholders for discussions and field visits on nutrition, agriculture, early childhood development, technology, financing and subnational delivery.
According to a statement by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, the visit provided opportunity for both countries to deepen cooperation and share practical lessons on improving nutrition outcomes, strengthening agricultural value chains and accelerating implementation at state, local government and community levels.
The Vice President is expected to arrive in Abuja later today.
