Shettima Departs Abuja To Commission Projects In Lokoja

Vice President Kashim Shettima has left Abuja for Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, on a one-day visit at the instance of President Bola Tinubu to commission some completed projects.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, said the event marks Governor Usman Ododo’s first year in office.

He explained that during the visit, the Vice President would commission completed and ongoing state government projects and engage with residents at a town hall meeting at Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja.

Nkwocha revealed that the Vice President was accompanied by former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, House of Representatives Finance Committee Chairman James Faleke, National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and APC Deputy National Chairman-North, Bukar Dalori, among others.
