CP Receives Accolades For Efforts In Securing Kano State

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, has commendations for the efforts of the operatives of his Command in maintaining the security architecture of the State.

CP Dikko received the accolades Thursday, 16 September, from the management of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) Kano, who visited the CP, led by the Institution’s Chief Medical Director, CMD, Professor Abdulrahman Abba Sheshe.

Speaking on the purpose of the visit, Prof. Sheshe said that the achievements of the Police Chief in the State since he assumed duty, and which has kept the entire state safe, had not gone unnoticed.

“We appreciate your effort in securing the State. We are here to strengthen the already existing cordial relationship. We seek more presence of Police in our premises”, he said.

Prof. Sheshe further appreciated the effort of the Police in enforcing the COVID-19 guidelines during the peak of the lockdown as a result of the pandemic, adding that the synergy between medical personnel and police in the State is worthy of emulation.

He urged the CP to keep the flag flying and lift the banner higher, concluding with “Onward together and God Bless”.

Responding, CP Dikko stated that he was extremely happy and highly honoured for the visit from the CMD and his team, saying that AKTH is the first medical institution to visit his office.

Dikko averred that Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital is a popular medical institution, not only in Nigeria but across the globe, “because of the capable hands that are joined in the leadership of the hospital”, adding that, “we always appreciate the assistance we get from AKTH whenever our medical officer refers patients for medical attention to your hospital. We are 100% ready to assist in ensuring security of AKTH or interventions in any aspect to protect lives and properties”, Dikko said.
