The Office of the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman has raised an alarm that his WhatsApp number was hacked and currently being used by unauthorised individuals.
Director Press and Public Relations of the Ministry, Folasade Boriowo disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Boriowo said, “we deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice”.

She informed that the matter had been reported to the relevant authorities and was under investigation.
“We advise all members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”, she said.
