ENDSARS Protest: Gridlock On Mararaba-Nyanya Abuja Express Road
Scores of youths in Nasarawa have joined the fray in the protests against SARS and their operations in the country.
The peaceful, though rowdy march ongoi g as at the time of this report, and which started from around the Orange market, Mararaba, was led by Youths with placards on the road shouting, “End SARS!’ as they walked along. Some could be seen lying along the hot road, blocking it and thereby causing a gridlock as motorists were left on a standstill watching events unfold.
The protesters said they took to the streets in solidarity with their counterparts across various parts of the country, calling for an end to police brutality.
A number of policemen were seen on the roads, ostensibly to ensure the protests remain peaceful.
