Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, attached to the FCT Police Command have arrested a man found to be in possession of a human skull and bones.
The FCT Police Command’s PRO, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Adeh disclosed that the suspect, identified as Nuhu Ezra, resident of Gosa village in Lugbe, Abuja, upon interrogation, stated that he picked up the items from the bush while hunting and intended to sell them for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
Consequently, the FCT Police Commissioner, CP Bennett Igwe, has ordered a thorough investigation to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, whether the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business.
