In furtherance of the ongoing National Minimum Wage negotiation, a delegation of the Organised Labour Union made up of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), have arrived at the State House to meet with President Bola Tinubu.
Recall that the Organised Labour rejected the N62,000 Minimum Wage proposed by the Federal Government, insisting on its N250,000 Minimum Wage pegged during the meeting with the Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage.
Therefore, today’s meeting with the President is to find a common ground to permanently resolve the protracted issue.
