NYSC Announces Pass-out Date For Batch ‘A’ Stream One Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management has approved Friday 15th December, 2023 as the Passing-Out date for the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Corps Members nationwide.

NYSC Spokesperson, Eddy Megwa announced the development in a statement issued on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Megwa said activities lined up before the Passing-Out date included; sensitisation of the Corps Members on job creation and opportunities after service by seasoned NYSC and NDE Officers.

He added that, the low-key event would be climaxed by the distribution of Certificates of National Service to only the deserving Corps Members at the Local Government level.

He further said that the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed appreciates the Corps Members for their selfless services and numerous contributions to the socio-economic development of the country.

The DG urged them to bring to bear, all the lessons they learnt while serving, especially the skills they acquired through NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme and start their businesses wherever they chose to stay after service.

On the issue of the safety of the Corps Members, General Ahmed advised them to be security conscious at all times.

“Don’t expose yourself to danger. Reject the temptation of free rides and don’t travel at night, NYSC wishes you a successful post-service life”, he said.
