President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from Lagos, bringing to a close a six-day stay in the former seat of government.
His return was announced in a statement on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The President touched down in Lagos on Tuesday, September 29, following his annual vacation in London and Paris.
During his time in the city, he delivered a national broadcast on October 1 to mark Nigeria’s 66th Independence Day anniversary.
Later the same day, he attended the National Premiere of MKO at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts.
The documentary chronicles the life, political struggle and lasting legacy of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, as well as the historic June 12 pro-democracy struggle.
On Sunday, President Tinubu also paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Akiolu, at the Iga Iduganran Palace on Lagos Island.
