President Bola Tinubu has officially signed a bill establishing the Federal University of Environmental Technology in Ogoni, Rivers State.
The development was announced by the
Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Bwala Daniel on Monday
“I am pleased to inform Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assented to the bill establishing the Federal University of Environmental Technology, Ogoni, in Rivers State,” he said.
Daniel disclosed that the move aligned with the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope agenda, which prioritizes correcting past inequalities and building inclusive institutions for balanced national development.
He also informed that this development followed the recent approval of a federal university in the Southern Kaduna district of Kaduna State.
