President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to address Nigerians on important National Issues today, Monday, July 31, 2023, by 7 pm.
The Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Special Duties, Communications & Strategy, Dele Alake disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
Although the reasons for the National Broadcast were not stated, it may be as a result of the planned nationwide industrial action by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) for Wednesday, August 2, 2023, over the removal of petroleum subsidy and non-provision of palliatives to cushion the effect.
Alake however, enjoined Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.
