Delivering judgment, the court sentenced the defendants to one month imprisonment on the first count, six months on the second count, and 12 months on the third count.

The sentences are to run concurrently.
The court adjourned the matter to June 16 to continue proceedings in respect of one defendant who contested the charges.

In a related development, two individuals facing charges over alleged theft of alcohol appeared before the court. Despite initially pleading guilty, both later challenged aspects of the prosecution’s case, leading to an adjournment until June 30.

A juvenile connected to a related case was also present during proceedings. Authorities confirmed that the minor has been returned to police custody for appropriate handling in line with established procedures for juvenile offenders.
