2023: Yahaya Bello Assures Victory For APC In Kogi State

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has expressed confidence in the All Progressive Congress (APC) to emerge victorious in the 2023 general election in the state.

Bello made the remarks while inspecting 46 campaign vehicles donated by the APC’s National Deputy Publicity Secretary, Hon. Yakubu Ajaka in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.

TheFact Daily reports that the cars were distributed to the regional chairmen of the Asiwaju Group in the state, the LGA party chairman and the regional coordinators of the GYB network.

The governor, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Abdulkareem Asuku, said, “our party in Kogi is strongly united to secure maximum votes for our presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, along with winning all the elections for national and state assembly. “

“The donor of these cars, the deputy national publicity secretary of the party Hon.Yakubu Ajaka, is a worthy son of the state, who our state is proud of at the national level.”

“I think this gesture of support for the party in the state is noble and highly appreciated.

“Kogi is blessed with people who care about the development of the party and our state at large, and one of them is our Hon. Yakubu Ajaka.

“The joy is that Kogi is rapidly moving towards a one-party state, as opposition parties are no longer visible in the 21 local government areas.

“As governor, I am making sure that every member of the family is treated as a family, and issues are dealt with internally, so that we go into the election together to get one hundred percent victory for APC,” Bello said.

Earlier, Ajaka said, the gesture was part of his contribution to the success and victory of the election campaign for the APC presidential candidate in Kogi State.

“The donation and/or unveiling of these cars today, November 23, marked the official launch of the election campaign for Tinubu here in Kogi.

“These vehicles are for the GYB chairmen and coordinators in the 21 local government areas of the state.

“The logic behind this gesture is to get APC to get the maximum votes from our people for the presidential candidate and other candidates in the next general elections,” he said.

Ajaka, also said that another set of vehicles would be given to women and youth coordinators to enable them to carry out their campaigns in the field.

The party leader urged all party members and citizens to vote en masse for the party’s candidates for victory at all levels.

“I want to assure the people of Kogi that what awaits us after the 2023 elections will be better than what we have now,” he promised.
