Police Arrest Notorious Drug Dealer, Five Suspected Thugs In Kano

The Kano State Police Command says its operatives have arrested a notorious drug baron and five other suspected thugs following an operation conducted by officers attached to Jaoji police division, Kano.
The state command’s spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna, on Monday, said the notorious drug dealer, identified as Hafizu Ali, and the other criminal suspects were arrested with various illicit drugs and dangerous weapons recovered from them.
He listed the exhibits recovered from the suspects drugs to include 2,070 suspected Pregabalin capsules and 23 parcels of suspected Cannabis Sativa. Others are 4 knives, 2 scissors and an axe.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Ibrahim Bakori, commended the officers for their commitment and dedication to duty and thanked the good people of the state for their support and cooperation, adding that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigations.
