Breaking: APGA Clears Soludo, Okwudili, Ibe, Okolo For Anambra Guber Election
… Disqualifies Five Others
Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Damian Okolo, ThankGod Ibe and Ezenwankwo Okwudili Ewepudike have been cleared as the party aspirants for the Anambra State Governorship primary election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Other aspirants including Hon Chuma Umeoji, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, Cater Dike Umeh, Hon Nonso Smart and Ozoka Odera Ifeanyi were however disqualified by the party.
National Organizing Secretary of the Party, Ifeanyi Mbaeri, said that the aspirants who were not cleared were at liberty to exercise their right of appeal in writing.
Mbaeri said that the decision of the screening committee was subject to veto by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, which is the final authority in terms of the eligibility of aspirants.
