The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has listed transparency, team spirit, and selflessness as the principles that would guide him as he assumes office.
The Minister who spoke on Monday at a reception in his honour at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja said, these principles would help in actualizing the mandate given by President Bola Tinubu for the Aviation Sector.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN), pledged to continue the work that has been done in the sector and improve on the modus operandi.
“I am people-oriented, and my aim is to satisfy people,” Keyamo stated.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the Directors and staff of the Ministry, Permanent Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole expressed happiness and preparedness of staff to work with the Minister.
‘‘We know you are here to continue the good work of Mr. President as concern the aviation sector and we assure you of our commitment to make sure we delivered our mandate’’
According to a statement by the Head of Press and Public Affairs in the ministry, Odutayo Oluseyi, the Union Chairman, Hector Nnadi, expressed optimism that the Minister, following his track records will perform well as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace.
