Protest: Tinubu Bows To Pressure, To Address Nigerians Tomorrow

By Sunday Etuka, Abuja

President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am.

This follows the call from the protesters and other well meaning Nigerians, for the President to address the nation and reverse the fuel subsidy removed in May 2023.

Just today, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) knocked President Tinubu for his failure to address Nigerians despite the violent protest across the country.

However, a statement on Saturday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale enjoined, Television, radio, and other electronic media outlet to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.

He said, the broadcast would be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.
