As part of commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to excellence and professionalism, the Force has expressed readiness to graduate the 6th Regular Course Cadets tomorrow, September 7, 2024.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi who disclosed this in a statement on Friday said, the event is scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano.
ACP Adejobi noted that in a recent address, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, emphasized the critical importance of standardization within the Nigeria Police Force, underscoring that a well-trained police force is essential for enhancing public safety, maintaining law and order, and promoting community trust in the Nigeria Police Force.
He said, the graduating class of the 6th Regular Course Cadets have undergone comprehensive training designed to prepare them for the diverse challenges they would face as future leaders in policing.
According to him, this rigorous curriculum includes extensive instruction in areas such as community policing, conflict resolution, ethics, human rights, criminal investigation, and advanced leadership skills.
He said, the IGP expressed optimism that the new graduates would serve as exemplary role models in their respective communities, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and professionalism, adding that their training was a testament to the ongoing reforms aimed at building a more responsive, accountable, and citizen-centric police force.
“The Inspector-General of Police, therefore, invites stakeholders, families, and the general public to join in celebrating the accomplishments of these cadets as they embark on their important journey to serve and protect the citizens of Nigeria”, Adejobi said.
