EFCC Sets Up Public Complaints Unit

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has established a Public Complaints Desk at all Zonal Directorates of the Commission and its Corporate Headquarters.

EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed in a statement on Wednesday that the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, gave the directive for the establishment of the Unit to bridge the interface gap between the EFCC and the larger public to enhance quick resolution of complaints by the public.

Oyewale said the Desk, designed to be manned by specially trained officers, will receive complaints from members of the public on all aspects of the Commission’s activities.

Consequently, the EFCC’s boss has urged members of the public with any complaint about the Commission’s operational activities to take advantage of this initiative to ventilate their grievances, assuring that all issues would be addressed.

“The Public Complaints Desk can be accessed on the Commission’s website and social media platforms”, Oyewale said.
