NCoS Appoints New Controller For FCT Correctional Service

The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has appointed Ajibogun Olatubosun as the new Controller for the Federal Capital Territory Command.

The NCoS FCT Command’s spokesperson, Adamu Duza, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday
the appointment follows a recent reshuffling of senior officers within the service across the country.

Olatubosun takes over from Controller Usman, who has been redeployed to Zone ‘R’ in Maiduguri as the Acting Zonal Coordinator.

During the official handover ceremony on Tuesday, outgoing controller, Usman, praised the FCT Command personnel for their dedication and commitment, and expressed confidence in their ability to handle any tasks assigned to them. He also expressed optimism that his successor would further enhance the performance of the Command.

In his remarks, Olatubosun thanked God for the opportunity to serve in his new role and appealed for his predecessor’s continued cooperation in ensuring the success of the Command.

Olatubosun, who before his new posting, served as the Controller of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the Service Headquarters in Abuja, also extended his support to the officers of the Command, promising to work collaboratively with them to address challenges and advance the service.

He further emphasised his commitment to maintaining discipline within the Command, declaring a zero-tolerance policy for any acts of indiscipline or misconduct.
