Tighten Security Around Schools -Shehu Sani Urges FG
Senator Shehu Sani has advised schools in the areas surrounding the Federal College of Forestry , Ifaka in Kaduna State .to take adequate precautions to protect their students against similar occurrences.
This is even as the politician cum activist regretted that the abducted students were yet to be released more than 24 hours after their abduction.
On his verified twitter handle, @ShehuSani wrote:”The Students abducted at the Fed College of Forestry Kaduna have neither been released nor freed at this moment.Lets keep them in our prayers & hope that the authorities should do everything possible to secure their freedom.Other schools on the fringes should take precautions.
Recall that no ferwer than 30 students were declared missing when armed men stormed the Federal Government College of Forestry Mechanization in Afaka area of Kaduna State on March 12 and abducted them.
It is the third mass kidnapping of students from an academic institution in northern Nigeria this year alone.
