Her career has included stints at African Bank Plc and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), as well as service as Deputy Chief Registrar and Admiralty Marshal of the Federal High Court-a track record the Governor said speaks to her readiness for the bench.

“The appointment is a recognition of Justice Ende’s distinguished career,” Governor Alia said, adding that the elevation also reflects his administration’s commitment to inclusivity, equal opportunity, and women’s advancement in leadership.

Invoking his administration’s “HE for SHE” philosophy, the Governor said sustainable development is only achievable when women are given equal opportunities to contribute their talents and expertise to nation-building.

He called on the newly sworn-in Judge to uphold the constitution and carry out her duties with integrity, independence, courage, fairness, reminding her that judiciary remains the last hope for the common man.

Governor Alia also commended the National Judicial Council, the Judicial Service Commission, and the leadership of Benue State Judiciary for their roles in facilitating the appointment and pledged continued government support for the judiciary in strengthening justice delivery and the rule of law.
