The Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Mrs. Oluwatoyin Madein has expressed deep sadness over the passing of the former Accountant General of the Federation, Late Mr. Jonah Oguniyi Otunla.
Her condolence message was contained in a statement on Wednesday by the
Director of Press and Public Relations of the Office of Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), Bawa Mokwa.
According to the statement, Madein said, the late former Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) worked hard to bring the Treasury of the Federation to the present enviable position, especially in the implementation of a series of Public Finance Management Reforms.
Madein, who described the Late Otunla as an amiable personality, noted that he has gone to be with his Maker and prayed for the repose of his soul.
She commiserated with the family of the late former AGF and the Treasury of the Federation over the unfortunate incidence.
Late Jonah Oguniyi Otunla was Accountant General of the Federation from July 2011 to June 2015.
