Aiyedatiwa Declared Winner Of Ondo APC Governorship Primary

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Election in the State

Aiyedatiwa emerged as the party’s candidate for the November 16 governorship election after being declared winner by the Gov. Ahmed Ododo-led Election Committee.

He polled 48,569 votes to defeat Moyowa Akinfolarin and Olusola Oke who polled 15,343 and 14,865 votes respectively.

Others are Jimoh Ibrahim: 9,456,
Kekemeke: 1,045, and Edema: 395 votes.

Aiyedatiwa was sworn in last year December as Ondo State Governor Following the death of the former Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Mr Akeredolu died after a long battle with leukaemia and prostate cancer.
