The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has praised First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s humanitarian work and her support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration as she marks her 66th birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday on behalf of the party’s National Working Committee, leaders and members, Yilwatda described the First Lady as a “true mother of the nation” whose compassion cuts across political, ethnic, religious and geographical lines.
He pointed to her Renewed Hope Initiative and her interventions in education, healthcare, and women and youth empowerment as evidence of leadership focused on restoring dignity and hope for vulnerable Nigerians.
He added that her quiet acts of kindness have made her a source of comfort to many across the country.
The APC chairman also commended the First Lady’s support for President Tinubu as the administration pursues economic reforms and national renewal, saying her strength, wisdom and prayers have been a pillar of support through difficult decisions and responsibilities of governance.
Yilwatda closed the tribute with prayers for the First Lady’s continued health, wisdom and fulfilment, and wished her a happy 66th birthday on behalf of the party.
