Breaking: NLC Declares Two-day Nationwide Protest Over Economic Hardship

The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day nationwide protest over the current economic hardship in the country.

NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero made the declaration during a Press Conference in Abuja on Friday, February 16, 2024.

He said, the nationwide protest would take effect from February 27 to 28, 2024.

Ajaero accused the President Bola Tinubu-led administration of failure to address the hardship being experience by Nigerians since the removal of fuel subsidy in May 2023.

The last meeting between the Federal Government and leadership of the NLC/Trade Union Congress (TUC) could not produce any meaningful results.
