The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has expressed the readiness of the state to receive visitors and investors who are willing to help build the collective dream of the people.
This is just as he said that his administration is committed to the welfare of Abians, improving infrastructure, healthcare, security, and ensuring prompt payment of salaries and pensions.
Dr. Otti stated this in his Easter Message to the good people of Abia State, posted on his X account on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
He thanked everyone for their immense support and contribution to the building of a New Abia from yesterday’s ruins, noting that some progress have been made and promised continuous support to the communities.
The governor urged the citizens to embrace the lessons of hope, faith, and the power of belief that the Easter brought.
“To the Christian community in Abia and worldwide, congratulations on preparing through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. May your faith be strengthened.
“Our joy in Abia is boundless, as we see God’s faithfulness. We celebrate freedom and the future with optimism, and we are grateful for the redemption and liberation of our state.
“As we celebrate Easter, let us remember the ultimate sacrifice of Christ for humanity. Let us dedicate ourselves to improving the lives of those around us”, he added.
