Young Nigerian comedienne, Emmanuella Samuel, has taken to social media to mark her seventh year of making comedy skits.
The 11-year-old skit-maker took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to reflect on her experience in the comic industry for the past seven years.
The entertainer thanked God and also appreciated Mark Angel for giving her the platform to showcase her potentials.
She said: “God has been faithful … Today mark’s exactly 7 years of being on set.. Have been growing strong and stronger Thank you @markangelcomedy @officialmarkangel. I love you all,” she wrote.
Emmanuella began her career in comedy at the age of five.
It started during a family holiday when she met Angel who needed children for a comedy shoot.
She was able to memorize her lines and Angel put her endurance to test in an eighteen-hour video shoot.
She was said to have done well and Angel was able to convince her parents to let her be a part of the Mark Angel Comedy team.
She rose to fame after the comedy skit ‘This is Not My Real Face Oh’.
Emmanuella has continued to excite viewers with amazing comedy performances. She has also snagged numerous awards and recognition locally and internationally.
She was awarded the ‘Favourite African Social Media Star’ category at the 2021 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in March.
