The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Baba Alikali has approved the posting of DSP Edafe Bright as the new Spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command.
ASP Edna Bassey, the Second in Command of the Public Relations Office, 2ic PPRO, disclosed this in a press statement issued today, 18 September, 2021.
TheFact Nigeria learns that Edafe, who has been the image maker of the State Command, had been doing so in an acting capacity.
The new PPRO holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, and was at one time the Administrative Officer, Area Command, Asaba. He has also served in Ekiti State Police Command.
The new PPRO has appealed to the general public and media practitioners for the same support enjoyed by his predecessors.
His appointment takes immediate effect.
