The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla has given assurances of the Nigerian Navy’s cooperation with Denmark on issues of maritime security.

On Tuesday 21 January 2025, when the Ambassador from Denmark, Jens Ole Bach Hansen paid him a courtesy visit at Naval Headquarters, Abuja.
The Ambassador’s visit was to introduce himself to the CNS as he recently arrived Nigeria to serve as ambassador.
Ambassador Hansen recounted how Denmark has been partner with Nigeria and other African states in maritime security within the Gulf of Guinea.
The CNS who welcomed the Ambassador to Nigeria expressed enthusiasm about the country’s collaboration with Denmark on issues of maritime security, with particular reference to the Gulf of Guinea.
