The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced planned shutdown of the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) for maintenance.
Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the NNPC Ltd., announced in a statement on Saturday that the scheduled maintenance and sustainability assessment would commence on May 24, 2025.
He disclosed that the company was working closely with all relevant stakeholders, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure the maintenance and assessment activities are carried out efficiently and transparently.
Noting that the company remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering sustainable energy security for Nigeria.
