The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members on completing their national service, urging them to take the lessons and skills gained during the programme into the next phase of their lives.
In a farewell message issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC leadership said the graduating corps members answered the call to serve with courage, passion and commitment to the ideals of the nation.
The Director-General said their patriotism, resilience and selfless service had inspired hope and set an example for others to follow. According to the message, the corps members showed that the true spirit of service lies in giving one’s best for the greater good.
The statement praised the projects initiated by the corps members and the lives they touched in their host communities, noting that their legacy of service would inspire generations yet unborn.
As the corps members step into a new chapter, the Director-General encouraged them to make full use of the knowledge and skills acquired through the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme. He urged them to be pioneers who forge new paths, create opportunities and become beacons of hope for others.
The message also called on them to let the Scheme’s core values of patriotism, integrity, efficiency, commitment, teamwork and self-reliance guide them as they overcome challenges and pursue their highest aspirations.
It added that they should uphold these values at all times and seek leadership roles wherever they find themselves, so that they may become architects of unity, progress and national development.
The Director-General wished the outgoing corps members a bright, purposeful and successful future, encouraging them to go forth and make their mark on the world.
“Nigeria is ours, Nigeria we serve,” the message said.
Concluding, the Director-General offered congratulations and best wishes, adding, “I love you all!”
