Obi, Labour Party Pose No Threat To APGA -Soludo Declares

Governor-elect, Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo.

The Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has declared support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Peter Umeadi, saying that  Peter Obi and Labour Party do not pose a threat to the party.

Soludo’s declaration was confirmed in a statement by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu.

Soludo said, the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his supporters, known as the ‘Obidients’, were no threat to APGA, adding that his party,  APGA, remained the third largest political party in the country.

“APGA does not consider the wave of the ‘Obidient Movement’ as a threat towards achieving its set goals in 2023”, he said.

Recall, Soludo won his governorship seat in the state under APGA.
