Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke has announced that the payment of N75,554 new minimum wage for civil servants in the state would commence December 1, 2024.
Adeleke disclosed this on Friday via his X handle.
The governor also said an additional N25,000 has been approved for all pensioners in the state.
“Sequel to the earlier announced new minimum wage for public workers in Osun State, I am elated to announce 1st of December, 2024, as the date for the implementation of the payment of N75,554.28 to all categories of workers, including local government employees across the State.
“This includes payment of one month arrears to all public servants in the State.
“Additionally, a sum of N25,000 has been approved as an improved pension package across board for all pensioners in the state. This is in consideration of the plight of our senior citizens in this current economic situation,”he said.
