The Kebbi State Police Command has presented insurance benefit cheques totalling ₦11.4 million to 18 beneficiaries and next-of-kin of deceased police officers under the Group Life Assurance (GLA) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) schemes.

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Umar M. Hadejia, presented the cheques on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, as part of the Nigeria Police Force’s efforts to support families of officers who died in active service.

The insurance schemes form part of the Force’s welfare measures for its personnel and their families, providing financial support to dependants of officers who die or suffer qualifying injuries in the course of their duties.
