Bulk power supply has been restored to the Katampe 330kV Transmission Substation, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announced.
The company said the supply returned at 4:15pm on Friday through the Gwagwalada to Katampe 330kV Line 1.
The restoration came after the substation lost supply through the Shiroro to Katampe 330kV Line 1, which is still out of service because of a fault.
To make the Gwagwalada to Katampe line available, TCN said it has put on hold the planned maintenance work on that same line.
The work, it said, involves replacing defective line isolators and the associated earthing switch.
It said the suspension allows the line to carry supply to the substation for now.
TCN apologised to electricity consumers in the affected areas for any inconvenience caused.
