Supermarket Robbery Leaves Four Dead In Nasarawa

A supermarket robbery orchestrated by gunmen, in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has left four persons dead.

The spokesperson for the Nasarawa State Police Command, Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the incident Wednesday, said it happened on Tuesday, around 8:45 pm.

TheFact Daily gathers that the gunmen, numbering four attacked Wisdom supermarket at One Man Village and opened fire on customers, killing four of them.

Nansel disclosed that the Commissioner of Police of the State, Umar Nadada, has deployed operatives to the scene, while the four persons have been evacuated to the Mararraba Medical Centre.

He further disclosed that the CP has also directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department in Lafia to move to the scene of the incident and carry out a comprehensive investigation.
