The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned maintenance exercise at its Lafia 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation.
TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, who announced the development in a statement on Wednesday, disclosed that the maintenance exercise would be carried out
on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Mrs. Mbah explained that during this period, TCN’s maintenance crew would work on the 330kV APIR/Lafia Transmission Line 1 switchgears.

Nonetheless, she said, there would be no loss of power supply, as the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) would still be able to off-take electricity from the substation to serve customers connected to the facility.
