Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced scheduled maintenance outage on Ikeja West Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 1 at Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Substation.
TCN, in a public notice, said maintenance will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The company said an outage is necessary to enable maintenance crew carry out routine maintenance on line, adding that Ikeja West Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 2 will also be taken out of service to provide safe working space for crew.
It said approximately 40MW of load is expected to be interrupted at Ejigbo Transmission Substation during this period, but Airport load will be diverted to Isolo Transmission line to minimise impact of outage.
TCN apologised for inconvenience to Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company customers affected during the maintenance period.
